Top 10 NBA Guards Of 09

Top 10 Guards10. Derrick Rose- Just getting the feel for things in the NBA Rose has so much potential after making it to the playoffs against Boston for the first time with the Bulls last year. Playing against the Celtics he has definitely improved.

9. Tony Parker- Your wondering why I put Tony at nine with his ability to shoot the ball and defend. Well my answer to your question is he’s getting older and will be playing less minutes so he won’t be much of an impact for the spurs. I will tell you that Tony cannot play like he used to and continue to play 30+ minutes. If Pop keeps him in the Spurs could be looking at a problem.

8. Steve Nash- An avid passer and great ball handler, I’m still thinking he needs to work on his mid-range shooting. But can still shot the three lights out.

7. Kevin Durant deserves to be down here at 7 because like rose is still developing but with great potential especially on a team with not much there.

6. Deron Williams- Not much to say just continues to play great and comes out ready each night.

5. Dwayne Wade- Had a great run in the finals, not very well known anymore but deserves to be known at number five.

4. Vince Carter- Vince can do just about everything its just about consistency.

3. Baron Davis- Just wait till next season. Baron+Blake=back in the mix

2. Chris Paul- Paul can do just about everything. Chris Paul is one of my favorite guards. His passing is phenomenal. Couldn’t ask more from him each night.

1. And number one..arguably the best player of all time won another ring this year and will keep on playing till he’s done. That’s right Kobe Bryant
